Developing a Sustainability Programme requires a set of skills you may not have within your organisation.

That’s where Coral Mountain comes in, as your ‘on-hand’ Sustainability Manager.

We help you understand and respond to business related environmental challenges, then develop your Sustainability Programme to include waste and compliance, carbon footprint and resource usage.

Our training is adapted to each of your teams, with an emphasis on inspiring and motivating action. We do this by informing individuals as to why a Sustainability Programme is relevant to their role and why they are being asked to change what they do.

Your programme will be designed to fit around your schedule, to suit your needs and budget.

A Sustainability Programme for your business

DOES YOUR COMPANY…

Lack the know-how or the skills to build a sustainable future in-house?
or
Have a sustainability manager who needs additional support to deliver your programme?

Coral Mountain provides a structured programme adapted to your individual organisation’s conditions.

See how our FOUR ‘A’ SYSTEM is designed to be flexible to the needs and budget of each client.

CORAL MOUNTAIN’S SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAMME –
 THE FOUR ‘A’ SYSTEM

The FOUR ‘A’ SYSTEM is a structured model for developing your Sustainability Programme. Each ‘A’ is a stage in delivering a process. By following this flexible methodology, you will see how the programme is develops as it progresses.

Because every company is different, you don’t get a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach. What you do get is a methodology for achieving environmentally sensitive outcomes which suit your enterprise.

Assess - First 'A' in a Coral Mountain Sustainability Programme
Aims - Second 'A' in a Coral Mountain Sustainability Programme
Actions - Third 'A' in a Coral Mountain Sustainability Programme
Achievements - Fourth 'A' in a Coral Mountain Sustainability Programme
1st "A" - ASSESS. I work with you to understand your company – its drivers and what makes it unique.
The Sustainability Review comprises a framework of questions around current activities and attitudes, from which a report with recommendations is compiled.

Together we establish where the opportunities are to reduce environmental impact, keeping in mind that the choices have to be good for the business.

2nd "A" - AIMS. Measurement is fundamental for success.
Objectives and goals will be agreed, based on the Sustainability Review recommendations and business priorities.

Understanding the organisation’s purpose, mission and vision forms a crucial part of this step. During interactive workshop sessions these guiding statements will be scrutinised and adapted to incorporate sustainable thinking as an integral part of the business strategy.

3rd "A" - ACTIONS. Involving everyone is essential for change to a sustainability orientated culture.
This process does take time.

We provide guidance on appropriate activities to raise awareness and inspire new behaviours. An introduction to the Sustainable Development Goals at this point creates a shared sense of purpose.

Reviewing and improving the Communication Plan at this stage, also benefits relationships across the business.

4th "A" - ACHIEVEMENTS. The final ‘A’ is celebrating achievements. Now the channels developed within the Communication Planning come into play.
Sharing internally with employees motivates them to continue to greater challenges. Your Sustainability Programme becomes a marketing opportunity with stories to share, attracting and retaining customers.

Continual improvement means the programme returns to the 1st‘A’ as you assess which environmental impacts to confront next.
